Guest educator, Ginny Mitchell is an experienced beekeeper and honey judge. She has judged honey exhibits at the Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, and Iowa State Fairs.
Ginny says, “I love helping beekeepers across the Midwest discover the art in preparing their honey entries for fairs. Once you see it, you’ll never look at a jar of honey the same way again!” Ginny was the guest speaker at the April 26th NWIABKA annual meeting.
Jean Irwin, the Honey & HIve Products Division Assistant will review the attached 2026 Clay County Fair Honey & Hive Products Dept. exhibiting classes.
There are generous “Best of Show” cash awards for the top three exhibitors in both the adult and junior (17 years and younger) divisions.
